In the CNC lathe processing parts, the process should generally be divided according to the principle of process concentration, and most or all of the surface processing should be completed as much as possible under one clamping. According to the different structure and shape of the parts, usually choose the outer circle, end face or inner hole to clamp, and try to ensure the unity of design basis, process reference and programming origin. In mass production, the following two methods are commonly used to divide processes.
(1) Divided according to the machining surface of the part. Arrange the surfaces with higher position accuracy requirements to be completed under one clamping, so as not to affect the position accuracy due to installation errors caused by multiple clamping.
(2) Divided by roughing and finishing. For parts with large blank margins and high machining accuracy requirements, rough turning and finishing turning should be separated into two or more processes. The rough turning is arranged on a numerically controlled lathe with lower precision and higher power, and the fine turning is arranged on a numerically controlled lathe with higher precision.
The division of CNC lathe processing procedures mainly considers the production program, the structure and technical requirements of the equipment used and the parts themselves. In mass production, if a multi-axis, multi-tool high-efficiency machining center is used, production can be organized according to the principle of process concentration; if it is processed on an automatic line composed of modular machine tools, the process is generally divided according to the principle of dispersion.
