In copper CNC machining services, components are custom-designed with the help of solid copper bars, copper billets and cold heading billets. Copper is more difficult to work than other metals. Therefore, you need to have all the necessary manufacturing process knowledge. However, most copper alloys have excellent machinability, making them a popular choice for complex custom copper parts. Therefore, these alloys are superior to pure copper. Similarly, it is important to have appropriate knowledge and expertise when processing copper on 5-axis equipment. You will receive a complete copper CNC machining done by Pride's experienced staff.
Copper CNC machining ability
Our factory implements various machining capabilities to complete CNC machining of copper. Here are some of the features we have:
Wedm - also known as EDM or SPARK edM. In this regard, we can provide wire diameters from 0.006" to 0.012". We are capable of providing 4 axis EDM wire cutting for copper to provide high quality products. With this technique, metal can be cut without heating.
CNC Milling and Turning - We have a fully equipped machining shop with state-of-the-art CNC milling service machinery. Some of our advanced machines include vertical milling machines, CNC turning centers, horizontal milling machines, CNC lathes, etc. With this facility we are able to perform a variety of milling and turning operations on copper, including drilling, knurling, reaming, boring, face milling, hard milling, circumferential milling and taper milling. In addition, the service complies with military codes, ANSI, ASME, RoHS and ISO standards.
We cooperate with copper and copper alloys
Here are the different copper alloys we use:
1. Brass -- These copper alloys are most widely used in various applications. When zinc is added with other elements, it helps improve corrosion resistance, strength, ductility, hardness and electrical conductivity.
2. Bronze -- These alloys are made from copper and tin. Phosphorus is added to these alloys to deoxidize them. This produces a phosphor bronze alloy. Gears and bearings use these alloys because of their strength and hardness.
3. Nickel-silver -- These alloys are made from copper, nickel and zinc. These are almost similar to brass in several respects. However, nickel silver has a higher corrosion resistance than brass.
4. Copper-nickel alloys -- Copper-nickel alloys are known for their excellent ductility and corrosion resistance. These alloys are most widely used in harsh Marine environments.
Copper CNC machining is a service, it is always good to ask for help from experts with technology and professional knowledge.
