Non-metallic inclusions
The magnetic traces of non-metallic inclusions in shaft-shaped and rod-shaped forgings are similar to hair lines, and are generally straight. Non-metallic inclusions are usually distributed along the fiber direction of the metal, which is similar to the elongated magnetic traces discussed above.
