CNC metal lathe turning

Our metal lathe turning equipment and CNC lathe processing experience enable us to meet a wide range of customer application needs. Our equipment can usually produce precision metal parts as small as 0.012 inches (0.31 mm) in diameter and 0.032 inches (0.81 mm) in length. Our equipment can also accommodate precision metal parts up to 12" (304.8 mm) and up to 1.75" (44.45 mm) in diameter.

Our advantages in CNC lathe processing

Our Haas CNC lathe equipment is ideal for workpieces that require quick setup, small batches, and large diameters. Using our precision tail brackets, we are able to manufacture longer parts than using more complex Swiss automatic lathes. In addition, our turret lathe allows the production of repetitive parts and multiple cutting operations with minimal intermediate settings.

Our wide range of functions

We use our multifunctional lathe equipment and CNC programming expertise to create a range of surface shapes from simple to complex, including cylindrical and conical. In order to accurately remove metal, our skilled machinists use various techniques and a flexible turret inclined bed lathe with 12 turrets to achieve a wide range of part functions. These include (but are not limited to) turning, boring, drilling, threading (internal and external threads), internal tapping, grooving, face grooving, side turning, profiling, end face, knurling, cutting, chamfering, Cut off and radius.

Our collation

People from other metal manufacturing fields often come to us for secondary processing. These parts are deep-drawn, finished blank, without center grinding, cold head or micro-stamping. Our skills and technology enable us to use any full range of CNC lathe processing technology without destroying the original molding and manufacturing features. In addition, we have the expertise to perform secondary processing on ground parts, keeping the cutting blade while the lathe is turning on the other end of the part.

Use almost any metal

Our CNC metal lathe processing expertise also allows us to handle complete metal arrays, giving your design engineers the flexibility to be creative and select materials that provide the best performance for your application. In addition to more common materials such as aluminum, brass and certain stainless steels, our CNC lathe machinists are experienced in handling special metals. This includes Elgiloy®, a high-temperature alloy known for its corrosion resistance, high strength, ductility, and long life. It is often used in applications ranging from springs and seals to medical devices, implants, and wires.

We are good at using Nitronic 60 alloy. Because of its high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and wear resistance, it can be used for valve stems, valve seats and internals, fastening systems, screens, pins, bushings and roller bearings. , Pump shaft and ferrule, wear plate, guide rail and bridge pin. We are also experts in the use of M2 tool steel. M2 tool steel is a kind of highly wear-resistant industrial steel with a wide range of applications. The hardness, flexural strength, toughness and thermoplasticity after heat treatment make it suitable for the manufacture of various tools (such as drill bits). , Taps and reamers) are very popular.
