China's Auto Production and Sales Increased by 21.9% and 16.4% in July

China's auto production and sales reached 2.201 million units and 2.112 million units in July, down 5.3% and 8.2% month-on-month, respectively, and up 21.9% and 16.4% year-on-year, respectively, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. From January to July, new energy vehicle production and sales reached 496,000 units and 486,000 units, respectively, down 31.7% and 32.8% year-on-year, respectively, according to the China Automobile Association.
