1. Process plan analysis There are often two processes for the bending of pipe fittings: (1) Hot bending: first pour sand into the inner cavity of the pipe, and seal both ends of the pipe with wooden plugs to keep the sand under a certain pressure. After the thin-walled tube is heated by the part, it is bent into a simple mold. Hot bending does not require complicated molds, and the pipe fittings are easy to form; but the operation is time-consuming and inefficient. It is suitable for single-room and small-batch bending of large-diameter and thick-walled pipe fittings. (2) Cold bending: the use of bending molds to bend the pipe fittings at room temperature. Cold bending must first produce a suitable bending mold, which is easy to operate and efficient, and is suitable for mass production of small and medium diameter pipe fittings. The process is simple and easy to operate. Due to the large batch size and small pipe diameter, this pipe fitting is not suitable for hot bending process, but only for cold bending process. Therefore, it adopts a pipe bending die structure that is easier to bend and shape the pipe. 2.
