On September 18, the Indonesian Safeguards Committee initiated investigations into safeguard measures for curtains, yarns, and fabrics in accordance with the Indonesian Textile Association's application. The applicant proposed to impose a temporary safeguard measure import tax. On October 22, the Turkish investigating authority issued an announcement in its official gazette stating that the final ruling on safeguard measures for imported nylon (or other polyamide) yarns was proposed, and a special three-year tariff was proposed for the products involved from November 21. On November 19, the Argentine Ministry of Production and Labor issued a resolution to make preliminary anti-dumping rulings on gloves originating in China and other countries. The preliminary ruling imposed a 56% temporary anti-dumping duty on FOB prices on gloves in China and other countries. The resolution comes into effect on the date of issue.
