Fifth, part of the copper processing industry to the Midwest. With the implementation of the strategy of western development, the western region has the advantages of labor, cost, land, raw materials, policies, market and so on, and some of the production bases of domestic copper processing enterprises are transferred to the central and western regions. In response to these problems, the countermeasures put forward to the industry include: encouraging independent innovation, strengthening technology research and development, promoting copper production to high-quality development stage, catching up with and exceeding the international advanced level, raising the level of equipment localization to avoid being subject to people, promoting the integration of the two, improving the modern manufacturing level of the copper processing industry, deepening the structural reform of supply-side, encouraging mergers and acquisitions of the copper processing industry, and resolving excess capacity.
