Metal ring pad.
Metal ring pads are mainly used in high-pressure, high-temperature equipment and pipe flanges. National standards and petrochemical industry standards apply to nominal pressures of 2.0 to 42.0MPa, chemical industry standards apply to 2.5 to 16.0MPa, JB/T89-94 for 6.3, 10, 16, 20MPa.
The temperature at which the metal ring pad is used depends on the metal material used. The hardness of the metal ring pad material should be lower than the hardness of the flange sealing surface material, HB30 to 40, and its maximum value should comply with the relevant standards.
The sealing surface of the metal ring pad must not have scratches, bumps, cracks, and defects, and the surface roughness is not greater than Ra1.6 m.
Metal ring pads called No. 10 steel or 08 steel should be coated with rust-proof oil after inspection.
Metal toothed gaskets.
Metal profile gaskets can be used for common pressure 4.0 to 16.0 MPa of concave overall cast steel flanges and welded steel pipe flanges, 08 or 10 or 0 22Cr17Ni12Mo2 maximum operating temperature of 450 degrees C, 0Cr13 maximum use temperature of 540 degrees C, 0Cr19 maximum use temperature of 600 degrees C.
The limit deviation of parallelity at both ends of the metal profile pad must not exceed .0. 05 mm . The surface roughness of the metal toothed cushion top plane is Ra is 1 . 6 s m . Metal toothed pads should be made of whole steel plates and do not allow welding.
